"HP / LP ports" is the number of high-pressure and low-pressure ports on the first stage, which caps how many accessories (transmitter, SPG, inflator, second second-stage) you can run at once.

Pros
  • Over-balanced FSR first stage with an optional 5th LP port and built-in heat exchanger, built for cold water and high-demand setups
  • Pneumatically balanced second stage keeps breathing effort low at depth and low tank pressure
  • Weight and port count are well-documented and consistent across independent retailers
Cons
  • Heavier and pricier than the XTX40/XTX50, overkill for casual warm-water recreational diving
  • No octopus included in the base DIN listing, it's bundled separately as a "Stage3" set
  • Apeks now positions the EVX200 as its newer flagship, so the XTX200 is gradually being phased out

The XTX200 is Apeks’s high-flow technical regulator, built around the FSR first stage that sits just below Apeks’s Tungsten line. Its optional 5th port with a built-in heat exchanger and over-balanced diaphragm design make it a favorite for cold water, depth, and gas-hungry rigs like doubles or stage bottles, though it’s more reg than most warm-water recreational divers need.
