"HP / LP ports" is the number of high-pressure and low-pressure ports on the first stage, which caps how many accessories (transmitter, SPG, inflator, second second-stage) you can run at once.

Pros
  • Over-balanced diaphragm design with ACD environmental seal and heat exchanger genuinely built for extreme cold, not just warm-water diving with a cold-water label
  • Diver Changeable Exhaust system includes both small and large exhaust tees in the box
  • Second stage is convertible for left- or right-hand hose routing with a pneumatically balanced, adjustable design
Cons
  • Priced close to the DIN-focused MTX-RC despite sitting a tier below it in Apeks's lineup, so compare specs carefully before choosing
  • No octopus included, this is first and second stage only
  • Manufacturer spec sheet doesn't publish a weight figure, so exact heft is hard to compare against competitors on paper

The EVX200 brings Apeks’s over-balanced diaphragm first stage and cold-water heat exchanger tech into a yoke-connection package, making it a fit for divers who need yoke compatibility but still want the brand’s technical-grade cold-water engineering. It shares most of its core first-stage design with the MTX-RC, just without that model’s extra second-stage adjustability.
