The EON Steel was Suunto’s flagship technical computer, built around a fully customizable color display and dual-algorithm support for mixed-gas and CCR diving. It’s since been joined (and partly superseded) by newer Suunto models like the Ocean, but remains a capable option for divers who prioritize display customization.

"Gas switches" is how many different mixes this computer can be programmed to switch between mid-dive, mostly relevant for technical/staged-decompression diving. It doesn't tell you which gas types (air, nitrox, trimix) are supported. See Gas types and the product description above for that.
