The Infinity is Surface Tension’s single-tank wing/backplate BCD, designed and manufactured in Taiwan for divers who want a full technical harness without the usual bulk. It replaces the typical bolted wing/dump hardware with a patent-pending, tool-free attachment system, and pairs a JIS aerospace-grade aluminum backplate with a lightweight Surface Tex ballistic nylon shell offered in 18 lb or 28 lb wing sizes and more than a dozen colorways. Surface Tension has since introduced a newer V8 generation with a lighter Surface Tex 3 fabric, but the V7.2 covered here remains the version most widely stocked at Asia-Pacific dive shops.
